Frequently asked questions
No. HydroHarvest facilitates market readiness and introductions to relevant buyer channels, but purchase decisions, prices and contracts depend on quality, volume, timing and the buyer’s independent requirements.
The programme prioritises irrigated, market-linked crops suited to the farm’s soil, water and climate, including selected vegetables, fruits and export horticulture where appropriate.
HydroHarvest operates a preferred supplier network rather than stocking chemicals directly. Recommended crop-protection products must be registered with Kenya’s Pest Control Products Board.
